Chitwan, Lumbini & Pokhara

This ten day tour is ideal for those who feel that trekking is not for them.

Take in the splendor of Kathmandu, the city with the worlds' highest number of UNESCO World Heritage sites.  Travel to the southern part of Nepal to Chitwan National Park and then onto Lumbini, a place a deep significance to Buddhist.  Our last place of interest is Pokhara, nestled under the mighty Annapurnas.

Itinerary 

Day 1   Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel by private care

Day 2   City tour of Kathmandu valley

Day 3   City tour of Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath Temple & Bhaktapur Durbar square                             

Day 4   Drive to Chitwan 6 hour journey. Tharu Cultural dance show program that evening

Day 5   Full day Chitwan jungle activities - canoeing,  elephant ride, Tharu Village walk

Day 6   Bird watching in the morning, after breakfast drive to Lumbini

            Sightseeing of Lumbini in the afternoon/evening.  Overnight at Lumbini

Day 7   Morning meditation at Mayadevi Temple then drive to Pokhara, 4 hours.  Overnight  Pokhara

Day 8   Morning Sarangkot excursion, breakfast and half day sightseeing. Overnight in Pokhara

Day 9   Breakfast and fly back to Kathmandu, 25 min flight. Overnight in Kathmandu

Day 10 Transfer to airport
